'kissing books' with a kick
Hi there! I’m Tracy.
My favourite books to read are “kissing books” (full credit to ‘The Princess Bride’) and it’s safe to say if there isn’t at least a little bit of romance in a story then I’ll probably lose interest. So it won’t come as a surprise to learn that all of the stories I write have a romance at their core. Even the zombie ones!
But you won’t find pouty heroes or sappy heroines pining away for their lost love in my books. My guys and gals kick-arse and they fight for what they believe in – love, family, their dreams and sometimes their lives.
I love all things creative, take way too many pictures of beachside sunsets and all the pretty flowers, and I believe in love at first sight.
I started writing in 2015 when I decided I needed a hobby and signed up for my first course with the Australian Writers Centre (AWC). Since then I’ve been learning as much as I can so that the stories in my head can become the best versions of themselves. You’ll get to see for yourself in the first book of the Tempest Beach Series – Spark. It’s out now.
I’m a member of an amazing AWC writers group and we’ve published two anthologies of short stories – Hidden Depths and New Years Eve. My story ‘High Tide’ was first published in Hidden Depths and is a sweet romance. It’s an introduction to Tempest Beach. You can download it here.
